The project - one of the world's largest of its kind - is investigating why headaches occur, who is most affected and which treatments work best. We combine national health registries, surveys and digital headache diaries, and use epidemiological methods and artificial intelligence to find patterns that can lead to faster diagnosis and more precise treatment.
The goal is to improve lives for people with headaches. The project is an essential part of the registry research program of the Norwegian Center for Headache Research (NorHead) and is led by Professor Marte Helene Bjørk in collaboration with leading national and international research groups and Headache Norway.
